Commercial Accountant anyone..?
Hi, does anyone know who to become a commercial accountant? Ive looked on the internet but struggling to find the answer lol Im interesting in becoming the above but unsure how..

Well.....first you have to become an accountant. This means selecting which type of qualification you want.......ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc etc. Generally this study will take you 3-5 years dependant on whether you have an undergraduate degree in an appropriate subject or not. Then the other part - Commercial - and determining the type of business you wish to work for. Usually commercial accountants are very close to the core business decision making....so need to have a good background in your chosen business area. As a starting point, one of your best bets is to try and get into one of the large accounting firms or a large national/international company. Good luck!
